Lun Energy is a VC-funded technology startup based in Denmark. Employed as their Growth Specialist, I was in charge of maintaining and developing their internal applications.
Lun had a particularly complex customer onboarding process. I have developed a solution in Retool which automated several steps of the process by connecting to internal product APIs, and created issues in Linear for tasks that needed to be done manually.
How we worked through the project
Documented the current onboarding process
Split the current process into chunks, deciding which steps could be automated completely, and which to turn into tasks

By automating several steps, Lun experienced a significant reduction in time spent on manual customer onboarding work
By creating Linear issues, mistakes, forgotten tasks and communication overhead markedly decreased
