Problem
Manual cold outreach for business development is time-consuming and inefficient. Traditional processes involve:
Scouring various sources to find potential leads.
Manually validating contact information (e.g., emails).
Writing and sending personalized cold emails individually.
Encountering workflow bottlenecks with "invalid email" errors or spam filtering.
Solution
A fully automated end-to-end cold email system was built leveraging Make.com to streamline and scale outreach. The pipeline includes:
Step 1: Scraping Google Maps for relevant business leads (e.g., local real estate agents).
Step 2: Extracting each business’ website and scraping the site for email, role/title, and main content.
Step 3: Using AI to auto-generate short, customized cold emails for each lead based on their business.
Step 4: Running regex-based email validation to ensure only properly formatted addresses are used (^\S+@\S+\.\S+$).
Step 5: Sending validated leads directly into an email campaign tool (Instantly.ai) for automated outreach.
