Sometimes when you work in a creative field, the inspiration hits you like a train out of nowhere. Well. Almost nowhere! After doing research on a video game in the dark fantasy genre, and watching a lot of medieval fantasy movies, I sat down with the piano and ended up with the track below!

There are few things that are as satisfying as bringing out a creative idea that feels like it is coming out of nowhere. In this case, it's a three stage story that can be imagined.

Part 1 of the track can be interpreted as a sad, but beautiful place. Mist is rolling in through the passes in the mountains, and the trees seem to be especially vibrant in their colors.

Perhaps someone passed away. We don't know. But the mood is sad, but a general feeling of hope is still present, as the clouds pull away and let the sun shine through the mist for a minute or two.

Through the mist, something is moving through the valley. Something intending harm and grief. The sound of hooves in the roads can be heard, as it coming closer! It is time to run, or grab your own weapons? Who knows!

As the riders crest the lower hill, you can tell that these are indeed riders intending harm, and it is time to panic!

As you duck in under a house, and peak out from underneath, the riders make their way through the small village - and luckily keep moving, and you can breath deep. You are safe at last!
