Client Challenge

The primary challenge for this auto dealer client was to increase conversions through their Google Ads campaigns. The client faced inconsistent conversion rates and had received complaints about the lack of optimization in their previous campaigns.

Client Problems Before Our Intervention

No Consistency in Conversions: Conversions were sporadic, making it challenging to predict ROI.
Complaints Regarding Optimization: The client was dissatisfied with their campaigns' lack of strategic optimization.

Reasons for Low Performance (Identified by Us)

Inadequate Budget: The budget allocation was insufficient to compete effectively in the auto dealer industry.
No Ad Extensions: Missing ad extensions limited the visibility and click-through rates (CTR) of the ads.
Inappropriate Campaign Settings: Campaigns were not set up to target the right audience or leverage optimal bidding strategies.
Too High Bidding for Keywords: Overbidding on certain keywords led to inefficient spending and low ROI.

Solution & Process

We took over the campaigns and implemented a strategic approach to address the issues and improve performance. Below are the key steps we took:
Search Campaign with Display:
We launched a Search Campaign with a Display to broaden reach and visibility, which yielded positive results.
Remarketing Campaign:
We added a Remarketing Campaign to re-engage potential customers who had previously interacted with the client’s website. This strategy helped generate leads at a lower cost per conversion.
Keyword Optimization:
We added keywords in all match types (broad, phrase, exact) to optimize bids and improve targeting.
Adjusted keyword bids to first-page bid levels, which increased CTR and conversions.
Ad Copy Testing:
We tested multiple ad copies with different headlines and descriptions to identify the best-performing variations.

Results

Within 3 months, the campaigns showed significant improvement in conversions and overall performance. Below are the key results:
