For over 8 years, I have designed Shotgun Sports Magazine as a freelance Art Director, on a completely remote basis. This monthly 64 page average publication is dedicated to the sport of skeet and clay target shooting. The client provides me with text and images (most of the time) for each issue, as well as most of the advertisements from their advertisers. From this, I create editorial layouts, ad designs, supplemental graphics, and image sourcing for every page, providing proofing until approved for print. Upon completion of each issue, I also produce a digital version for web and email distribution, and deliver press-ready files for final printing.
