Film Photography Portfolio: Jerusalem

Joseph Hall

A lot has, and will, happen in Jerusalem. That's the way it always has been, and the way it will be. This is evident to anyone that has traveled its four quarters, and through the physical labyrinth of steep hills and stone streets, and through the cultural labryrinth of languages, religions, and times past. Here is a collection of film photography from my time there in November, 2022.

What may captivate you in this photo is the Dome on the Rock (Qubbat as-Sukhra'). What should captivate you, however, is the sundial, pointing to about 12:45pm, just before the area was closed for prayer.
