Tape Cassette — Agency Website Redesign & Framer Development

Giving a creative agency the website it deserved — bold, minimal, and built to convert B2B clients.

Overview

Tape Cassette is a visual storytelling and media production agency based in Coimbatore, with clients including Bosch, Janatics Polymers, and Hero Motocorp Sri Lanka. As an in-house Product Designer and Framer Developer, I was part of the collaborative decision to redesign the website from the ground up — taking the visual direction, UI/UX design, and complete Framer development from concept to launch.

The Challenge

A creative agency's website is its most visible proof of work. Tape Cassette had built a strong portfolio of high-quality visual productions for industrial and corporate clients, but their existing site was outdated, didn't reflect the agency's bold creative identity, and had a poor mobile experience. For an agency whose positioning is "no patience for generic content," a generic website was a direct contradiction of the brand promise.
The redesign needed to fix that, and do it without overcomplicating things. The site had to feel premium and confident, let the work speak, and clearly guide B2B prospects toward an inquiry.

My Role

Product Designer & Framer Developer. I handled the visual direction, UI/UX design, and full Framer build. The redesign was a collaborative team decision, but the design execution and development were mine, end to end.

The Approach

All-Caps Bold Typography as Identity — The most distinctive design decision was treating typography as the primary visual element. Large, confident all-caps headlines — "GREAT STORIES AREN'T JUST TOLD. THEY ARE EXPERIENCED" — set the tone immediately. The type doesn't just communicate, it commands attention, which is exactly the personality Tape Cassette carries into every project.
Dark, Clean Minimal Aesthetic — A dark background with restrained layout gives the site a premium, cinematic quality that matches the agency's video and photography work. White space is used deliberately so the actual client work photos, film stills, testimonials, breathe and get full attention without visual competition.
Work-First Structure — Case studies and client logos are prominently placed early in the scroll flow. For a B2B audience, social proof from names like Bosch and Hero Motocorp is the fastest trust-builder, so I made sure it was impossible to miss.
Live Clock & Real-Time Details — Small details like the live IST clock in the hero section add a layer of craft and intentionality that signals to visitors this is not a template, it's a site built with purpose.
Mobile-First Rebuild — Every layout was designed and built in Framer with mobile as a priority, fixing the responsiveness issues the previous site had.

The Result

A live, fully responsive agency website built in Framer that positions Tape Cassette as the premium creative partner they are confident, editorial, and built to earn the trust of serious B2B clients before a single conversation happens.
