SpeechCare is a prototype of a mobile application designed to support speech therapists, parents, and caregivers in helping children develop speech skills. The idea was inspired by real challenges - the lack of a convenient way to share techniques, routines, and success stories within the speech therapy community.

The idea came from a real conversation. A speech therapist mentioned that she'd been looking for a tool where professionals and parents could share methods, see what others are doing, and learn from each other. Nothing like that existed — useful information was scattered across different platforms with no structure or community around it.

That was enough to see the product. Who is it for? Parents and speech therapists. Sharing methods means a social-style feed. But people don't just want to share techniques — they want to talk about progress, thoughts, and experiences. So the app needs two content types: structured methods and freeform posts. Five core sections: Home, Posts, Create, Methods, Profile.

Methods need a guided constructor with structured fields so users aren't staring at a blank screen. Posts need image support to grab attention. Both need comments, likes, saves, and sharing so people actually interact, not just scroll. If someone tries another person's method and adapts it through practice, they should be able to remix it without rewriting everything manually. Search and categories across Home, Posts, and Methods so nothing gets buried.

For retention — a daily challenge and a random exercise wheel. Not obligations, just small reasons to come back. Subscriptions, notifications, and messaging for real connection between users. And in the profile, parents can add their children and track what they're working on now and what's already done.

All of this existed as a complete picture before I opened any tool. I hear a problem, and the structure, features, and logic come together as one thing — not as separate steps.

Once that picture was clear, I compressed it into a prompt, generated the initial skeleton in Figma Make, and started shaping it. First round: getting every feature to work and feel right — adding, removing, rearranging. Second round: bringing the visual design to a modern, polished state.
