Your 1o1 Guide to Moral Superiority
Historically, an overwhelming number of individuals have argued in black and white–the dilemma of the two bipolar ends never ceases. Is Imran Khan a horrible person or the messiah of Pakistan? Pick one side and stick to it till your last breath. Exploration for people who think the same, results in conformity and echo chambers. Shove your agenda, your sentiments, and your righteousness, in other people’s throats along with your feral friends.
You paint yourself as a unique and eccentric person, yet your ostracism from mankind in search of finding your moral high ground makes you tremble, thus you find people who think likewise. After all, you succumb to our evolutionary instinct to find groups and then hunt. Amongst your herd, you want your voice to reverberate the most as a perpetual reminder for others that your intellectual prowess cannot be challenged. To cement this perspective, you follow a few simple steps: make sure that your voice is the loudest, (by the accident of birth) be wealthy, and have flexible morals.
Once you have been armed with all of these weapons, you commence with your hunt. Pick ideas from people within your pack, and just shout them out that instant. Make sure that only you are credited for that proposal, verily there is no utility in giving anyone else the credit. Congratulations! You have become a pioneer of such an innovative thought.
Nevertheless, remain grounded and humble, for the subsequent step depends purely on your luck. If you are rich, you can continue reading. This world in its very essence is elitist. Your wealth will become your holy grail to your hunting triumph. Dissenting perspectives, arguments, and demands are all glossed over by the simple phrase “they are illiterate.” You are still losing? No need to fret. Use your social capital, pull out your fancy and hyper-specific vocabulary, and ensure that your opponent does not understand a single word. With your pretentious attitude, they will be practically arguing with a wall. Consequently, read more, fabricate more, and become an unbreachable wall.
Lastly, have volatile morals. Your morals must always align with your preferences. Any inconsistency in your preference is projected on your morality. You must insulate it from any criticism. Keep your guard on, any sluggish behavior on your end will strip you of your title of being the most condescending person. Your morals can change, but your preferences cannot!
