Brand and website design for Cipher9, a research-driven investment firm focused on AI, financial intelligence, and autonomous economies.
The goal was to create a digital presence that communicates Cipher9's position at the intersection of technology, finance, research, and the emerging machine economy.

Motion was used as part of the storytelling, rather than just decoration — helping visualize ideas around intelligence, coordination, systems, and autonomous economies.

Cipher9 needed a visual identity that could sit between finance and emerging technology — credible enough for an investment firm, but forward-looking enough to represent its focus on autonomous economies.
The identity was built around a minimal and distinctive visual language that could extend across the website, communications, and future brand applications.

The challenge was to translate these abstract and technical concepts into a website that feels credible, intelligent, and forward-thinking, while keeping the experience clear and engaging for visitors.
The Approach
We developed the visual direction around a research-driven, technology-forward aesthetic, using typography, motion, interactive elements, and abstract visual treatments to create a distinct identity for Cipher9.
The website was structured to introduce the company, communicate its research focus, showcase its platform, and clearly articulate its long-term vision around autonomous economies.

A minimal, editorial-inspired interface is combined with futuristic motion and abstract visuals to balance institutional credibility with a sense of experimentation.
The visual language was designed to feel less like a traditional investment firm and more like a company operating at the edge of emerging technology.
