Nectar wanted to rebuild their store on Shopify Plus to remove bottlenecks their marketing team faced due to the complexities of their existing custom eCommerce solution built on React.

UTM Tracking, events and issues with fulfilment integrations meant they were constantly fire-fighting issued caused by their website, taking valuable time away from the team and the business lacking confidence in the platform to scale.

The Solution

I developed a custom Shopify theme on Shopify Plus to refresh the website design, while sticking closely to the existing UI as Nectar had done a a lot of CRO work on the site already that they wanted to retain.

Nectar had complicated tiered discounting rules that Shopify apps where not able to manage. So using Shopify Scripts, I was able to create these custom rules within Shopify in a way their marketing team could easily manage based on the native Shopify discounts.
