Amnesty International is an NGO that promotes the defense of human rights and respect for the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. ​The organization campaigns for the release of prisoners of conscience, the right to freedom of expression, the abolition of the death penalty and torture, and the cessation of political crimes, but also for the respect of all civil, political, economic, social, and cultural rights. Each person is affected differently by injustices: racism, violence against women or other violations of rights. ​By affirming that any revolt against injustice is a reason to support Amnesty International, the message creates a personal connection with the public. ​The organization brings together these individual indignation to turn them into stronger and more effective collective action. ​
