DAYLYNEST — Turning Everyday Plans Into Meaningful Progress DAYLYNEST is a warm and approachable productivity app designed to make daily planning feel simple, motivating, and less overwhelming. The experience combines task management, calendar organization, and focused execution within a friendly visual environment built around soft colors, playful illustrations, and clear interactions.

A Productivity Experience Designed Around the Entire Day The interface brings the core DAYLYNEST experience together across onboarding, daily tasks, focused execution, and calendar planning. Each screen follows a consistent visual language while giving users a clear understanding of what needs attention, what has been completed, and what comes next throughout their day.

A Simple Journey From Planning to Execution The primary experience was structured around a straightforward four-step journey: enter the app, review today’s priorities, complete individual tasks, and use the calendar to understand the wider schedule. The flow minimizes unnecessary decisions and keeps the user focused on moving from planning into action.

Mapping the Complete Productivity Flow The user flow defines how the main areas of DAYLYNEST connect across the experience, from the initial splash and onboarding screens to daily tasks, calendar planning, and execution-focused views. Primary and alternative paths were mapped to ensure users can move naturally between planning and focused work without losing context.

Structuring Information Around Daily Priorities The information architecture organizes the app around a small number of clearly defined destinations and actions. Daily tasks and calendar views form the core structure, while alternative execution flows provide additional ways to focus on specific days and priorities without making the navigation unnecessarily complex.

Building the Experience From Structure First Before defining the final visual direction, low-fidelity wireframes were created to establish screen hierarchy, content placement, navigation, and the relationship between tasks and calendar views. This stage helped validate the core experience independently from colors, illustrations, and decorative elements.

A Warm and Consistent Visual System DAYLYNEST uses a warm visual system built around terracotta, peach, sand, sage green, and coffee brown. A defined typography hierarchy, reusable buttons, task states, icons, spacing rules, corner radii, and illustration elements create consistency across the interface while maintaining the app’s friendly and approachable personality.

Designed to Feel at Home in Everyday Life The final interface was designed to feel calm and inviting rather than overly technical. Friendly illustrations, comfortable spacing, clear task states, and warm tones help position DAYLYNEST as an everyday companion for organizing ideas, routines, and responsibilities while keeping the experience visually light.
