Problem
My friend was creating Bespoke Punks, custom NFT artwork that reimagines "CryptoPunks" in the style of their holders. Each piece was hand-crafted, a true labor of love, but she needed a platform as unique as her art to showcase these masterpieces. Beyond just displaying the NFTs, she wanted a way to bring her creativity to life online with interactive features, killer branding, and even some AI magic to help scale her process.
Process
Bringing Her Vision to Life
We started with one mission: make a digital playground where her Bespoke Punks could shine. This wasn’t just another NFT website—it had to be dynamic, vibrant, and packed with personality.
Frontend Fun
Built a slick interface using React and TypeScript for a an engaging, seamless experience.
Styled everything with Tailwind CSS and Shadcn/UI to make it pop—think bold colors and clean, responsive layouts.
Added a FlowerCursor (because why settle for boring pointers?) and interactive 3D PunkViewer to let users engage with the art like never before.
Backend
Powered it all with an Express.js server and a PostgreSQL database, managing everything from punk traits to user messages.
Integrated real-time OpenSea market data so collectors could see prices and trends right on the site.
Built secure file upload tools for managing her custom NFTs with ease.
Interactive & AI-Driven Extras
Made the NFT images interactive and fun, letting users dive into each piece's details.
Created a custom GPT assistant to help her run her business, from answering questions to social media strategy.
Started training an AI model on her hand-made Bespoke Punks so she can scale her art to over 4K unique art images for public mint, without losing her unique touch.
Branding That Stands Out
Designed fresh, bold visuals using Ideogram AI for logos, banners, and even some website imagery.
Built in 3D animations and a "draw flowers on the page" feature because every artist deserves a magical landing page.
