The Brief

Fiction Drinks is a Brazilian fruit soda brand launching in Europe. They needed a digital home that could do three things: tell their story with the same care they put into their product, sell across three markets in three languages, and be easy for the founding team to manage day-to-day — without needing a developer on speed dial.

The Experience

A homepage that tells a story, not just sells a product. Instead of a standard product grid, visitors scroll through an immersive narrative — illustrated artwork, compelling content, and scroll-triggered animations that reveal the brand's origin story one frame at a time. By the time someone sees a product, they already feel the brand.

Each product features multi-angle photography, tasting notes, expandable sections for the story behind the flavor, full ingredient details, and shipping info. Variant selection and quantity picking are clean and intuitive. Nothing cluttered, nothing confusing — just what a customer needs to make a decision.

Three languages, one seamless experience. The entire site — from navigation to checkout to confirmation emails — runs natively in French, German, and English. Not an afterthought translation layer, but a first-class experience in each language, with locale-aware pricing and content.

Built for the Business Owner

Update your site without a developer. All marketing content — hero sections, brand storytelling blocks, calls-to-action, navigation, footer — lives in a visual content editor (Sanity CMS). The brand team can change copy, swap images, and rearrange homepage sections on their own, any time. No code, no deploy, no waiting.
Manage your store from one dashboard. Products, orders, inventory, customers, pricing — everything is managed from a single, clean admin panel. Add a new flavor, adjust a price, check an order status, issue a refund. All in one place, designed to be intuitive.
Seamless payment integration. The checkout authorizes payment when a customer orders, but only charges when the product actually ships. If an order is cancelled before shipment, the customer is never charged and the business pays zero fees. A payment system that complies with EU regulations and give managers peace of mind.
Automatic order flows and fulfillment. When a customer places an order, it's routed to the fulfillment warehouse automatically. Inventory stays synced. When the warehouse ships, the payment captures and the customer is notified. When something is cancelled, the authorization is voided. No manual steps in between.
Two sales channels, one system. The same platform handles both direct-to-consumer online sales and incoming wholesale orders from a B2B marketplace — with order tracking, status updates, and admin tools for both. The business grows without the tools getting more complicated.
