Teamwyrk is a nonprofit platform providing tech career guidance to jobseekers. By offering assistance from professionals currently in the field, early career professionals will increase the odds of landing their next role in tech.
My objective as lead designer was to create an intuitive, accessible site to help inexperienced jobseekers seamlessly enter the tech industry. As this is an MVP build, many features developed are to be improved upon.
An opportunity for change
The company aims to increase the chances of jobseekers landing a job in the tech industry. Teamwyrk recognizes the challenges faced by entry-level applicants looking to break into this competitive field, particularly for those with no experience or connections. Teamwyrk's mission is to level the playing field and provide equal opportunities for all jobseekers.
How it works
Kimbra, a recent college graduate, signs up on Teamwyrk.com to increase her chances of landing her first role as a Software Engineer in the tech industry. She inputs her goals, target companies, and desired role on the platform.
Teamwyrk matches Kimbra with Joanna, an experienced tech professional, based on Kimbra's inputs and Joanna's expertise. Joanna acts as a mentor and guide for Kimbra, providing her with services and support tailored to improve her odds of landing a role at her target company.
