This project showcases how I implemented Cross-Domain Tracking in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to unify user sessions and conversions across multiple domains.
The client was losing conversion attribution because users were redirected between their main website and an external checkout domain (for example, example.comcheckout.example-pay.com).
Using Google Tag Manager (GTM) and GA4’s advanced measurement features, I ensured accurate tracking across both domains without session breaks — providing clean, unified analytics data for better marketing attribution.
🎯 Objectives
Enable Cross-Domain Tracking between the main and external checkout domains
Maintain single user sessions across multiple domains
