For 2 spectacular years, I had the absolute privilege of capturing the glitter and glamour of The Bend Burlesque Company through my lens, and let me tell you, it's more than just sequins and feathers.

By becoming a part of this local art scene, I've found a vibrant, inclusive community that truly embraces the spark in everyone. Supporting local queer artists has not only expanded my worldview but it's also been a thorough reminder that art has no boundaries.

But don't be fooled, it's not all fun and games. This is burlesque, my dear. Expect to get a little hot under the collar as you witness the raw energy and expressiveness that can only be found here. Because in the end, aren't we all a touch better, a tad brighter, with a little bit of burlesque in our lives?

Bend Burlesque was about tantalizingly grabbing attention and that's all they asked of me, the rest was up to my creativity. I was blessed to work with a group who trusted me to understand and promote their group and its ideals.
