One of the most successful gigs I am offering on Fiverr is my design review as written or recorded feedback. The idea came after proposing detailed feedback to my colleague UI designers in some of the Facebook groups.

Soon after started developing individual (custom) feedback for my clients. Funnelgy was my first client to request a video recording of the review with express delivery.

Process 🛣

After receiving the requirements or the so-called briefing on their business goals, I started skimming their website from my perspective as a designer and taking notes of everything I encountered as questions, suggestions or possibilities.

Then I made a draft recording while following my notes, and soon after, I started noticing other details about the design during the review because of the voicing of my steps and thoughts. The final version of the recorder feedback contains all my suggestions and comments on the homepage that fits in a 19 min video.

What I missed and learned?

Unfortunately, except for the recording of me reviewing their website, I haven't done a mock-up of the website before state.

What was the outcome after my UX review?

After some time, I contacted my client to ask for permission to showcase my work on YouTube, and naturally, I checked if they had applied any of the feedback I provided them. You can imagine my happiness and feeling of appreciation when I saw the redesign of the homepage.
