OVERVIEW
This project was created for an astrology class on one of the most intense and taboo topics in the field: Lilith in Scorpio. The presentation was delivered twice, once in English, once in Spanish, to an audience of astrologers and enthusiasts seeking a deep, structured understanding of this archetype.
The challenge was not just to organize complex information, but to make the design feel like the energy being described: dark, powerful, seductive, and precise.
THE CHALLENGE
Lilith in Scorpio is associated with shadow, taboo, witchcraft, and power as a survival mechanism. The content was dense including mythology, archetypes, natal charts, historical figures, transits, and the audience was specialized. The design needed to hold that intensity without becoming chaotic, and communicate authority without losing the atmospheric quality the topic demanded.
THE APPROACH
Every visual decision was intentional. The black and deep grey smoke backgrounds create a world that feels like it exists between dimensions. The purple accents, present but never overwhelming, signal mysticism and transformation. The serif italic typography in titles evokes myth and ritual, while the clean body text keeps the information accessible.
Historical figures like Eva Perón, Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, and Aleister Crowley were paired with their natal charts, creating slides that work both as astrological reference and as visual storytelling. Black and white portraits against the dark atmospheric backgrounds create a timeless, cinematic quality.
The presentation closes with the same figure it opened with, Lilith herself, and the phrase: "She dances in her shadows, transforming pain into power." The design earns that closing line.
