OVERVIEW
This presentation was designed for a live astrology class covering three simultaneous cosmic events: Venus Retrograde, Mercury Retrograde, and a Solar Eclipse in Aries, all happening in March 2025. The class was taught by two astrologers with different brands and audiences, requiring a design that could hold two distinct identities within a unified visual system.
The challenge was to create something that felt electric, urgent, and alive, because the content was exactly that.
THE CHALLENGE
Venus in Aries energy is bold, impatient, desire-driven, and unapologetic. The design couldn't be subtle. It needed to communicate fire, urgency, and feminine power from the first slide, while remaining legible, structured, and functional for an educational format with dense astrological content.
Additionally, the presentation had to work for two collaborating astrologers simultaneously, each with her own brand identity, without one overshadowing the other.
THE APPROACH
The visual anchor is an unexpected creative decision: Botticelli's Venus, one of the most recognizable images in Western art, reimagined with heart-shaped sunglasses and wrapped in hot pink flames. This single image set the tone for the entire presentation: classical meets contemporary, mythology meets pop culture, reverence meets irreverence.
The color system, magenta, fuchsia, crimson, and deep pink gradients, was chosen to evoke Aries' fire energy physically. The typography shifts between bold uppercase sans-serif for impact and lighter weights for readability, creating rhythm across slides.
The collaboration design solution was clean and symmetric: both astrologers introduced together with matching card layouts, consistent visual treatment throughout, and a shared closing slide that gave equal presence to both brands without visual hierarchy between them.
Content variety was handled through a consistent system: section-opener slides with a single image and question, content slides with the card layout on the atmospheric background, natal chart slides pairing real photos with astrological data, and closing slides that return to the full-bleed gradient world.
DELIVERABLES
— Live presentation (19 slides), co-branded for two astrologers — Adaptation into ebook format — Event flyer for social media (vertical format) — Instagram content carousel — Typographic feed posts (text system + color stroke) — Animated Instagram story — Banner for registration form (Google Forms) — Complete and consistent visual system across all touchpoints
