Explore Careers AUS: Digital Magazine Creation to Expand Audience Engagement
Aim: To create a vibrant digital magazine tailored to the interests and preferences of school students aged 14-17, while effectively showcasing our new branding and achieving the dual objectives of enhancing brand awareness for clients and fostering engagement with the target audience.
Deliverables:
Development of a digital magazine incorporating colorful and impactful design elements.
Creation of engaging and relevant content blocks based on research findings and feedback from the target audience.
Execution of a comprehensive communications plan across various channels, including EDMs, newsletters, and social media, to reach different stakeholders such as students, career advisors, and employer clients.
My Role: As the content manager, I was responsible for:
Full copy and content development for the digital magazine.
Establishing a theme focus that resonates with the target audience.
Conducting research to identify the most valuable content blocks.
Collaboration with the digital operations manager to ensure seamless design integration and content optimisation.
Outcome: The project resulted in the successful creation and launch of the first issue of the digital magazine in February 2024, which received significant engagement from the target audience (analytics coming shortly!). Subsequent issues have been completed, and efforts are underway to fine-tune the communications plan further to boost engagement for the upcoming releases.
This project showcases my ability to blend creativity with strategic thinking, effectively collaborate with team members, and deliver results that meet the objectives of both clients and target audiences.
