Sprocket Central Pty Ltd specialises in high-quality bikes and accessible cycling accessories for riders.
Their marketing team is looking to boost business by analysing their existing customer dataset to determine customer trends and behaviour.
By the end, you should recommend which of the 1000 new customers should be targeted to drive the most value for the organization.
Overview
The program is broken down into three main steps. These are:

Step 1: Data Quality Assessment
Task
This step is for reviewing the data to identify data quality issues while also taking note of assumptions or issues that the client needs to clarify.
Deliverable
After identifying data quality issues, draft an email to the client identifying the data quality issues and strategies to mitigate these issues.
Step 2: Data Insights
Task
In this step, the task was to develop a detailed approach for completing the analysis. The detailed plan is to be presented to the client to get a sign-off.
Deliverable
Put together a PowerPoint Presentation containing a detailed approach for the strategies involved in Data Exploration, Model Development and Interpretation.
Step 3: Data Insights and Presentation
Task
Develop a dashboard to present to the client. Maximum of 3 dashboard views.
Deliverable
A dashboard using Tableau or Power Bi.
Data Analysis
I cleaned and analysed the data using MySQL Workbench. You can find the queries I used here on Github.
My Experience
Overall, this case study was interesting and I was able to learn and practice various concepts. It took me a couple of days to complete since I was also learning new concepts.
On the plus side, it allowed me to view the entirety of the data analysis process from a business perspective. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in exploring data analysis.
