Skylance Website & Positioning Role: Brand strategist, lead designer & Framer developerDuration: 5 weeks
Short blurb I rebuilt Skylance’s online presence to reflect its real identity: a high-trust advisory firm operating in international markets, infrastructure, and strategic industries. The challenge was to avoid looking like a generic consulting shop and instead position Skylance as a bridge between governments, investors, and high-tech ventures.
The most toughest requirement? No AI-generated images. Skylance needed to convey the human side of consulting that was still needed today.

The brief (what we needed)

Skylance wanted a website that:
Signaled credibility to both government ministries and private investors.
Framed their advisory as multidisciplinary (deal structuring, expansion, high-tech infrastructure) but not scattered.
Highlighted case studies (airports, energy, space tech) in a format that communicates geopolitical nuance and outcomes.
Created a modern, executive-friendly experience—lightweight, confident, and readable.

My approach (strategy + design thinking)

Diplomatic positioning — Wrote copy that speaks to ministries, investors, and C-suites without jargon or over-promising. Every phrase ties back to trust, execution, and impact.
Narrative credibility — Showcased case studies (NASA, ASEAN energy, airport modernization) in a CMS structure that emphasizes role, stakeholders, outcomes, and geopolitical context.
Visual identity — Clean, modern design that feels institutional but not bureaucratic. Avoided flashy startup vibes; leaned into authority, clarity, and trust.
Multidisciplinary clarity — Structured services into 4 clear categories: Expansion, Infrastructure, Deal Structuring, and Strategic Leadership. This highlights breadth without diluting focus.
Conversion funnel — Clear CTAs for governments, investors, and partners (“Discuss a Project” / “Explore Case Studies”) instead of generic contact forms.

What I delivered

Strategic brand copy (outcome-driven, diplomatic, trust-based).
Full visual and content redesign in Framer.
CMS design for case studies (project, client, role, scope, stakeholders, results).
Landing sections highlighting services and unique leverage in ASEAN markets.
Responsive build optimized for desktop (boards/investors) and mobile (operators on the ground).
Narrative-driven project pages with space for long-form geopolitical context.

Key sections & why they matter

Hero — Establishes Skylance as an international advisory bridging capital, technology, and governments. No buzzwords; authority-led.
What We Do — Four focused categories that communicate breadth without overwhelm.
Case Studies CMS — Built fields for sector, geography, role, outcome metrics, strategic context. Each entry reads like an executive brief, not a portfolio.
About / Philosophy — Humanizes leadership (integrity, clarity, execution-first) to strengthen trust with high-level stakeholders.
CTA — Conversation-driven, not transactional (“Let’s Discuss Your Project”).

Tools & tech

Framer • Figma • CMS-driven content model • Loom (handoff)

Result (what the site does now)

Clear positioning as a trusted cross-border advisor for infrastructure and high-tech sectors.
Case study library that communicates both capability and geopolitical nuance.
A professional, modern web presence that resonates with ministries, investors, and executives.
A site that converts conversations into strategic partnerships rather than transactional leads.
