The redesigned version of Hermaid's Resources Page. Section: Overview
This project involved the redesign of the Resources page for Hermaid, a FemTech startup focused on women’s health and empowerment. The original resources page lacked clear structure and accessibility, making it difficult for corporate users, HR professionals, and individual patients to find relevant content.
The redesign aimed to segment content effectively, improve accessibility, and introduce interactive filtering features for a better user experience.

Past Problems

Inconsistent Structure & Navigation – The existing Resources page lacked a structured categorization, making it hard to navigate for both corporate users and individuals.
Limited Accessibility Features – The previous design did not fully accommodate accessibility best practices, which were essential for inclusivity.
No Content Filtering – Users could not easily find HR guides, articles, events, or press releases based on relevant criteria like symptoms or topics.
Unclear Targeting – There was no clear distinction between content for corporate/HR users and patients/individuals, leading to confusion

Solutions Implemented

✔ New Resource Segmentation – Created a dual-tab system to separate content for corporate/HR users and patients via a toggle button.
✔ Article Filtering by Symptoms – Implemented a filtering system to help users find resources based on symptoms for personalized guidance.
✔ Overview Page Enhancement – Added a summary page listing key guides for HR, articles, events, and media coverage for quick access.
✔ Improved Accessibility – Ensured the new design followed accessibility guidelines to accommodate users with visual impairments.
✔ Responsive Web & Mobile Design – Designed 12 web screens and 12 mobile screens to ensure an optimal user experience across devices.
✔ Collaboration with IT Team – Worked closely with the Polish IT team to implement the design using React and Ghost for article management.

The page was built in React while I monitored the progress. The page is still postponed because the Head of IT needs to make some changes and add the remaining pages.
