Created a sleek, responsive e-commerce platform for the client DCC, a streetwear fashion brand. The platform integrates a quirky custom design with robust e-commerce functionality, leveraging Shopify’s APIs for seamless inventory and checkout management. Aswell as the brands newest collections, the site includes an offering of demos (demonstratable fun projects for users to try) including lookbooks, music and mini-games.

User Personalisation:
Account management for customers to track orders and save wish lists.
Recommendations engine powered by Shopify's built-in analytics and external AI APIs.
CMS for Content:
Shopify CMS integration for blog posts, lookbooks, and promotional banners.
SEO Optimisations:
Implemented schema.org for rich product snippets.
Fast page loading via lazy loading, image optimisation, and Vercel’s CDN.
Challenges Overcome:
Shopify API Rate Limits: Implemented a caching layer with Redis to avoid API throttling.
Complex Filtering Logic: Used Zustand for state management and optimised re-renders for better performance on large collections.
