Enterprise Webflow Website for Submara

Overview Submara operates 16 bases along the Norwegian coast and maintains 24/7 emergency readiness for underwater infrastructure work — ROV, survey, diving, and maritime services. Formed in 2023 through the consolidation of 12+ regional companies, they needed a website that reflected their enterprise authority and worked as a sales and recruitment channel around the clock.

The Challenge Translating deep technical expertise in subsea operations into a visually engaging, user-friendly format — while building a robust backend architecture for seamless data flow from recruitment and leads into the company's existing systems. The previous WordPress site couldn't carry the weight of a national enterprise brand.

The Approach Delivered in four phases across a full-stack team:

UX & Strategy — User journeys and information architecture mapped together with UI/UX partner Kjetil Sørby (Sikt Reklame), ensuring clients, partners, and job seekers find what they need fast.

Design & Prototyping in Framer — The entire site was designed with live components and real interactions. A custom location finder simulating live search across all 16 emergency bases was built and approved by the client — before a single line of production code was written.

Webflow Development & Automation — CMS architecture transferred seamlessly from Framer to Webflow. Complex forms routed via Zapier into HubSpot. Custom recruitment flows with industry-specific interactions. QA across devices and browsers.

Launch, SEO & Compliance — DNS setup, GDPR consent management, Google Analytics, Search Console, structured Schema.org markup across all page types, and an llms.txt for AI discoverability.

Results 72 pages indexed and growing within weeks of launch. AI models including ChatGPT and Perplexity now accurately describe Submara as Norway's leading inshore diving and survey operator — citing correct company structure, regional subsidiaries, and services. The flexible Webflow architecture lets the Submara team scale content independently, and the integrations save significant administrative overhead.
