LIV Golf is a global professional golf league operating a multi-event international calendar, with a team-based format and worldwide broadcast coverage. Its Media Hub sits at the center of the league’s media operations, serving accredited journalists, broadcasters, and communications teams who rely on it to access schedules, media assets, and tournament information. As the league expanded its event footprint and media reach, the platform, originally built in Wix, became a primary source of information during live tournament cycles, placing increased pressure on how information was structured, updated, and maintained.
Under live conditions, those limitations became clear. Information was spread across inconsistent page structures, updates required manual coordination, and accreditation and scheduling details were not always presented consistently across events. This created friction for media users working against tight deadlines and increased the operational burden on the internal team responsible for maintaining the platform. I was brought in to rethink how the Media Hub should operate at scale, leading to a full redesign and migration to Framer. The platform was rebuilt as a CMS-driven system around a single event model, with each tournament generated from structured data and managed through defined pre-event, live, and post-event states.
The Media Hub now functions as a governed system that supports the league’s season at scale. Event pages follow a unified structure, with updates managed centrally through the CMS and key information presented consistently across every stage of the event lifecycle. The result is a platform the communications team can manage confidently under live conditions, while providing media partners with a reliable source of tournament information, content, and resources.

Outcome

Page views increased 103% year over year, establishing the Media Hub as a primary source of information during live tournament coverage
