Crimson Templars is set in the MoonWatch Universe, a world where supernatural forces collide with military precision. The story follows a seasoned warrior navigating a dangerous world alongside a novice but talented protégé. This dynamic creates high-stakes tension, compelling character growth, and a fresh take on the mentor-mentee relationship in an unforgiving setting.
Problems I Was Trying to Solve:
How to integrate realistic weaponry and combat tactics into an urban fantasy setting without losing pacing or accessibility.
How to make supernatural elements feel grounded within a gritty, lived-in world.
How to craft a mentorship dynamic that felt organic—balancing tension, conflict, and genuine growth.
How I Arrived at My Solution:
Conducted in-depth research on weaponry, combat strategies, and their impact on character choices and tactics.
Built a robust lore system that supports the supernatural elements without making them feel arbitrary or overpowered.
