Transforming LinkedIn Visibility for a UK Founder

How I made a UK founder's 20 years of hidden expertise legible on LinkedIn and turned it into a CEO-track executive role, YPO advisory partnerships, and $70K in inbound pipeline (in 90 days)

the challenge

S had spent 20 years in entrepreneurship. He'd run 15+ businesses, was a certified EOS Implementer and Outgrow advisor, and was scaling an offshore hiring agency.
Two decades of hard-won expertise and almost none of it visible on LinkedInđź‘€
That gap is more expensive than it looks. Because the people quietly deciding about S: prospects vetting him before a call, peers sizing him up, a future employer —all of them were checking his profile first. And what they found didn't match the operator they'd actually meet.
When he reached out, he was already posting—mostly generic tips on EOS and delegation. His problems:
Poor to no engagement, and content that didn't sound like him
A network of school friends and old colleagues who were inactive and irrelevant to his actual buyer
No time or interest in figuring out how LinkedIn works
He didn't need a "creator." He needed a partner who could take the expertise trapped in his head and make it legible to the right people—with a system running underneath it.

How I approached it

1) The deep-dive call. A 1-hour kickoff where I learned his agency, background, ICPs, and vision—then extracted his actual expertise and industry point of view. I also pulled his existing content from X and his website to repurpose, tied back to his goals.
2) Network audit. In week 1, I audited his connections and removed the inactive, off-ICP ones so his audience could start mirroring his real buyer profile instead of his past.
3) Profile repositioning. In week 2, I redefined his positioning and repositioned him clearly as the founder of an offshore hiring agency and an EOS Implementer—not a vague "entrepreneur."
4) Profile revamp. I rewrote the entire profile with the right keywords and designed his banner and Featured thumbnails so anyone landing on his profile knew immediately who he was, what he did, and what to do next. (This is the silent credibility check most founders fail without knowing it.)
5) Voice architecture + content strategy + design. From the deep-dive, I built a detailed tone-of-voice document capturing exactly how S talks—his phrases, his cadence — so the content sounded like him, not like a ghostwriter. I set the content themes (EOS & leadership, entrepreneurship, behind-the-scenes of the agency and his life) and a 5x/week cadence, with a custom visual designed for every piece.
6) The content engine. Every Wednesday, a 30–60 minute call with S—his week, his business, his life. From those low-effort conversations (I came prepped with 3–5 researched questions), I extracted 3–5 content pieces a week. His expertise, in his voice, without him having to write a word.
7) The repurposing engine. I mined his existing X library and podcast episodes, shortlisted what deserved a place on LinkedIn, reworked the hooks and closes, and turned podcast episodes into byte-sized clips—extending his best thinking without extra effort from him.

What it actually produced

The point was never applause. It was decisions—made about S, by people who mattered, because they'd read him.
An executive role at Outgrow — a relationship nurtured online and offline that led him to step into the position.
Advisory partnerships with YPO members — including one who read his content, then reached out offline for advisory work.
~$70,000 in inbound pipeline conversations within 90 days — with an inbound lead from the very first post.
An audience that finally mirrors his buyer — senior (23%), founders (12%), 2–10 employee firms (22%), London (17%). The right people, not just more people.
And underneath all of it, the traction that made it possible—the byproduct, not the goal:
149,503 organic impressions (â–˛111.6% vs. the prior 400 days)
40,251 unique members reached · 3,606 engagements · 359 comments · +21.7% follower growth

The part most people miss

S never became a "LinkedIn creator." His engagement stayed modest the whole way through. That was never the point.
The point was that the right people—a future employer, YPO peers, inbound prospects read him quietly and decided he was the real thing before they ever spoke to him.
That's what LinkedIn actually does when you build it for credibility instead of for applause. Not louder. Legible. So the substance you already have finally reaches the rooms that are quietly deciding about you.
That's the work I do for accomplished, reserved founders who'd rather be understood than be loud.
