From Outdated to Outstanding: Transforming Buster Consulting’s Online Presence
For over two decades, Buster Consulting has helped thousands of professionals in various companies enhance their work environments and improve performance. However, Mickey Bradley, the President of Buster Consulting, felt that his website no longer reflected the high standards his company delivers to clients. His website had become outdated and failed to capture the approachable yet professional essence of Buster Consulting.
Mickey challenged me to redesign the website in a way that would make him proud to showcase it to potential clients. He described Buster Consulting’s vibe as “Blazer and Jeans”—a blend of professionalism and approachability. This was the inspiration for a site that would feel polished and credible without the stuffy, corporate feel.
Crafting a Seamless, Scalable Website
Armed with Buster Consulting’s existing logos and brand colors, I set out to create a website that matched Mickey’s vision for a modern, dynamic online presence. Here’s a breakdown of how I approached each stage of the project:
Strategic Site Structure
To kick things off, I used the Relume Library’s AI-powered sitemap tool to generate a well-organized site structure in minutes. This gave us a strong starting point and saved us from weeks of back-and-forth, allowing us to focus more on refining the design and content.
Collaborative Design Process
During the design phase, I worked closely with Mickey and his copywriter to create a look that felt both professional and friendly. Through multiple iterations, we honed in on a design that represented Buster Consulting’s values and personality, ensuring that the visuals aligned seamlessly with the messaging.
Efficient, Scalable Development
For the Webflow build, I implemented the MAST CSS Framework, known for its scalability and lightweight design. This framework allowed me to develop quickly while maintaining a solid, flexible foundation that would allow for easy updates and expansions as Buster Consulting grows.
