Opening Animation for BIA TV Show

Opening animation created for BIA, a musical TV show broadcast on Disney Channel. I worked on design, editing, rotoscoping, and animation, as well as content for the show’s musical video clips, transitions, on-set videos, and post-production. Project Overview The main character is an illustrator and imaginative. Therefore, the entire series had to feature illustrations and painted strokes as if they were the protagonist's own creations. For this opening sequence of BIA, I was responsible for creating a dynamic animation that blended illustrated elements with live-action footage. The goal was to achieve a cohesive visual style with strong rhythm, vibrant color, and seamless integration between both worlds.

Challenge The main challenge was to ensure that the illustrations and the video interacted naturally, without feeling disconnected. The opening needed to feel energetic and expressive while maintaining a consistent aesthetic across all scenes.

Process I worked on timing each animated element carefully to match the rhythm of the music and the scene transitions. I also focused on color harmony to unify the illustrated graphics with the footage, selecting a palette that enhanced the mood of the show and kept the animation visually engaging. Through a mix of motion design, compositing, and color work, I built a sequence that feels fluid, playful, and anchored in the identity of BIA.

Result The final animation delivered a vibrant and rhythmic opening that strengthened the show's visual identity and set the tone for each episode. The integration of illustration and live action added an expressive, youthful energy that aligned perfectly with the series.
