Turbonomic

On this job, I am working in the “Application Infrastructure” team of the project called “Turbonomic”. It is a solution for application resource management in cloud and on-prem environments. From a technical perspective, it is a set of independent Java-based modules running in Docker on Kubernetes. Here, I am focused on developing the product’s integrations with APM providers – 70%, 25% of my working time is for other parts of the product, and also, I provide technical support for our customers (5%).

Responsibilities:

Developing the product’s integrations with different APM (application performance management) providers: Dynatrace, Newrelic, AppDynamics, etc.;

Developing the product’s integrations with different applications servers: JBoss, WebLogic, Tomcat, etc;

Developing the product’s native integrations with databases: MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle.

Developing the public API (REST) and the internal inter-module API (ProtoBuff).

I was the “DevOwner” of 2 important modules of the product.

Providing technical support and consulting for customers.
