"CA VA L'FAIRE" ALBUM COVER AND TRACKLIST FOR "IROS"

I was contacted by French Rapper IROS to create visuals (cover art, tracklist, and photo editing) for his upcoming album "CA VA L'FAIRE." My first step is to always understand the scope of the project and what success looks like, in order to best convey the message of his art. So, after agreeing on deliverables, I received the needed assets and a link for the album.

After hearing the album a few times, and deciding on the themes to extract, I start by sketching on paper and then prototyping on Illustrator many alternatives, and then I choose the few I find the most applicable and appropriate.

Then It's time to distort and texturize, and IROS being a fan of my style helped a lot because I knew I can take the project where I wanted and he'd be on board. This step is where the ideas can come together and become usable visuals. My process takes time and trail and error in order to give each single pixel the amount of attention it deserves. All of this is done with contact with the artist in order to ensure we are aligned.
