Storynest.ai is a next-gen storytelling platform where writers and readers co-create magic. It combines interactive tales, AI-assisted comics, and live character experiences into one ecosystem. Writers craft immersive worlds, while readers don’t just consume stories—they live them by chatting with characters, exploring, and supporting creators.

Project Objective
Design a responsive web app that:
Empowers writers to create interactive content easily (CMS + AI tools).
Engages readers through social features (comments, character chats, subscriptions).
Generates revenue for writers via “Pro Stories” and reader tipping.
Revamps the existing V1 UI/UX into a modern, intuitive V2.
Balancing bold, eye-catching visuals with practical functionality required innovative thinking and a deep understanding of both form and function. Our goal was to craft an experience that not only captivates.
Storynest aimed to go beyond traditional storytelling platforms by transforming itself into a dynamic, interactive ecosystem, where:
Writers and readers can interact directly—leave comments, share feedback, and build relationships.
Readers can follow their favorite authors, get notified of updates, and even chat with AI-powered characters inside the stories.
Writers can monetize their work through “Pro Stories” available only to paid readers.
A personalized Writer Feed, similar to a social media timeline, enhances engagement and discoverability.
A lightweight but powerful Story CMS enables writers to build interactive stories easily without technical barriers.
The entire UX and UI needed a major revamp to support this new vision in version 2.0.
Introduced comment threads and story reactions
Developed a conversational UI where readers can interact with live characters within a story. This involved creating a dual-mode experience: reading mode and interactive mode. Chat bubbles, character comment
Created a vertical, mobile-friendly feed for writers to share behind-the-scenes thoughts, teaser panels, writing updates, etc. Includes reposting with quote, liking, and comment functionalities for a community vibe. Designed layout with clean hierarchy.
Rebuilt the platform around a new design system
