Grabber Eat - Web app & Landing page Redesign

OVERVIEW

Role: UI/UX Designer, UX Research, Ux Writer
Grabber Eat is a third-party platform that helps couriers automatically grab high-demand delivery shifts on apps like JustEat and SkipTheDishes. While the product was functional, the UI lacked clarity, hierarchy, and modern visual appeal. I was tasked with redesigning the web app interface and marketing landing page to improve usability and make the brand feel more trustworthy and professional.

Problems Identified

Outdated and cluttered interface that made navigation difficult
Poor visual feedback for actions like shift status or system activity
Unclear CTAs and messaging on the landing page
Weak visual identity that didn’t build trust or look credible

Redesign Goals

Simplify the UI for fast, frictionless navigation
Use clear visual cues for active shifts, preferences, and status
Improve responsiveness for better mobile/tablet use
Make the landing page more informative, appealing, and conversion-focused
Build a visual identity that feels smart, bold, and reliable

What I Did

Audited the current UI and documented UX/UI gaps
Reworked layout hierarchy and spacing to reduce cognitive load
Designed new components and visual states (e.g., shift status, toggles, account alerts)
Used a bold yet professional color system to reflect trust and energy
Rewrote and structured key landing page sections:
What the tool does
How it works
Benefits for couriers
Testimonials & safety notes
Created a mobile-friendly layout system for both platforms
Delivered clean design files and component-ready assets for development

Results

Interface is now cleaner, easier to navigate, and visually informative
Landing page tells a stronger, clearer product story
Improved design builds more trust, which is critical for a tool in the grey zone of automation
Stakeholders now have a UI system they can build on as the platform grows

Takeaway

Grabber Eat’s redesign was a visual upgrade with functional value. It proved how thoughtful interface design can help legitimize a niche product, guide users with clarity, and encourage trust.
This redesign brought a bold, functional, and trustworthy look to Grabber Eat — making shift-grabbing feel less like a hack and more like a smart assistant for couriers.
