3D Loop Logo Animation for Made with Synergy

Made with Synergy was created by a UX designer who needed a fun & effective tool for their Innovation Lab sessions, based in beautiful city Wellington, New Zeeland.

I am honored to have had the opportunity to work with Angus, an amazing creative director. He entrusted me with the project of transforming their 2D logo into a 3D style and creating a logo animation using Spline.

Our goal was to transform the 2D logo into 3D and create a logo animation. First, we started by exploring the 3D style.

I created the modeling entirely in Spline using the SVG data they provided.

Since their brand tone is flat, I made three different materials for the logo: toon style and Phong shading.

The logo structure consists of three spheres, three rings, and one thunderbolt.

After deciding on the material style, I created multiple loop animations.

This is the simple one: their trademark thunderbolt is rotating, and the three spheres move in a full circle.

Using Spline, we were able to create the 3D logo animation very flexibly and quickly.
