Founded by CEO Saujin Yi and officially launched in 2024 (building on the foundation of Liquid, established in 2019), the company addresses a critical gap in the B2B payments market where 43% of US SMBs make global payments but 75% are dissatisfied with their current options.

LiquidTrust offers two distinct payment methods on a single platform:​

Simple Pay: Fast global payments to 200+ countries within 1-2 days with built-in counterparty verification, at a flat rate of $10 per transaction ($3 for US domestic)​

Protected Pay: Escrow-style protection using their proprietary Micro Escrow™ technology, which holds funds until agreed conditions are met, charging a 1% fee on the transaction amount​

The Micro Escrow™ technology is particularly innovative as it embeds escrow protection directly into payment flows without requiring separate contracts, third-party holding accounts, or costly legal structures—making it as simple as credit card transactions.

As Head of Product and Design I was tasked with a quick design of a mini website to fulfill the needs highlight the value proposition. The company is now integrating with major banks and global marketplaces and the product has won Silver Medal by Datos Insight for Product Innovation and Finalist at Paytech Awards USA.
