Odessa Opera & Ballet Theater — Bringing a Cultural Icon Online
In an era where culture meets digital, Odessa’s most famous landmark needed a stage as grand as its performances.
My team and I partnered with the Odessa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater to create a website that celebrates its architectural splendor while delivering a seamless, modern user experience.
Our Approach
Cultural Storytelling: Designed a visual language that honors the theater’s historic beauty while introducing fresh, contemporary energy.
Intuitive Navigation: Re-architected the repertoire and events pages to make discovering shows and buying tickets effortless.
Mobile First: Built a fully responsive experience so visitors can explore and book from any device.
Architectural Details: Integrated sculptural elements from the building’s façade directly into the design to echo its iconic presence.
Scale & Craft
Over 110 custom screens and 50+ key templates were meticulously designed in Figma and developed on WordPress—nearly a year of dedicated design and development.
Outcome
The result is a digital home worthy of a world-class theater: rich in heritage, visually captivating, and built for today’s audiences. This project reflects our passion for blending tradition with digital innovation to create meaningful cultural experiences.
