AniMAM is an arts research residency that produces a series of animated films for early childhood, focused on art-related content. The project has evolved into a training and development program for artists, fostering the collaborative creation of audiovisual works for MAM Rio.
In this video, artist Rosana Paulino and her work are the central themes of the film produced by Bruno Albert (soundtrack) and Tetiiz (animation). Rosana Paulino’s practice engages with social, ethnic, and gender issues, weaving together her personal trajectory and the phenomenological history of Brazil.
The residency was mentored by Adriano Cipriano, Renata Sampaio, and Shion L.

AniMAM is an arts residency creating animated films for children. I illustrated and animated a film inspired by Rosana Paulino’s work for MAM Rio.
