Ask the Otter website and chatbot

Ask the Otter is a free to use tool that gives users recommendations for movies, shows, books, and careers. I built the webpage in Webflow, the otter character in Midjourney, the composition in Photoshop, and the bot itself in Botstacks. The bot required a robust structure that captured both conditions and numerous variables. Since this is a free to use site funded only by ads, there also needed to be some protections from user abuse, so I coded in some stopgaps to limit users from spamming the bot. It turned out great and I highly recommend heading over to find a great recommendation.
