Case Study: One Central Health

. Client Requirements
One Central Health, an Allied Health Services Provider in Perth, required a full redevelopment of their outdated WordPress website. Their current site was built many years ago using a mix of HTML, custom code, and inaccessible plugins, making updates difficult due to staff turnover. They wanted to continue using WordPress while modernising the entire structure for long-term maintainability.
The new website needed to be clean, simple, and visually clear, reducing heavy text while still supporting detailed healthcare explanations. Many parts of the existing site had broken or inconsistent layouts that required complete redesign and rebuilding. The client needed the website to better showcase their services, ensuring information was accurate, easy to find, and user-friendly. They also requested improved location visibility with an embedded Google Maps section for patient convenience.
A key goal was to create a stable, future-proof platform that would allow the organisation to manage content with ease going forward. The redevelopment required a fresh layout approach while preserving the professionalism and credibility expected from a health services provider.
. Our Solution
We began by creating clean, modern mockups to help visualise the new structure and obtain approval before development. Once the design direction was finalised, we rebuilt the website using a streamlined WordPress setup without unnecessary or inaccessible plugins. The About Us page was redesigned from scratch, replacing the broken layout with a cohesive "Our Story" section that connects all internal links. We created dedicated pages for each service, using a consistent layout that balances clarity, visuals, and the detailed explanations required for healthcare content. We also added functional forms throughout the website, including contact and appointment request forms, to improve user interaction and streamline patient inquiries.
The entire site was given updated fonts, colours, and a reorganised menu to provide a more intuitive user experience. A responsive Google Maps embed was added to improve location accessibility for users across all devices. We optimised the site for easy content management, ensuring staff can make updates without coding. To support their internal team, we prepared a clear screenshot-based guide showing how to edit the header, footer, menu, key button links, and forms.
The final result is a clean, easy-to-navigate, and fully maintainable website aligned with One Central Health's brand and operational needs.
