The Bay-Area based VeggieRx nutrition program focuses on using food as medicine to promote healing and well-being. It offers free class series which teach the basics of healthy eating for any budget and provides participants with VeggieRx Fruit and Vegetable Vouchers.
In addition to direct marketing materials such as flyers and postcards, this program’s promotional strategy also included content meant to engage audiences and build awareness of the organization through educational nutritional content on social media.
VeggieRx’s sister programs include multiple farmers’ markets’ throughout the Bay Area. I created a series of posts called Nutrition Tidbits, which highlight a new produce item from the farmers’ market every month and detail the nourishing benefits of these fruits & veggies!
This series seeks to:
Engage audiences with interesting, visually-striking content to boost brand awareness
Educate audiences about nutrition without using reductive language or nutrition cliches!
