Potentia is New Zealand's largest locally-owned tech recruiter, with offices in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin. They open with kia ora before they say anything else. Where they're from is the whole identity.

They'd just refreshed the brand, but the site was still wearing the old one. And it had to keep running on the tech stack already in place. No rebuild, no migration. The new design had to live inside the systems their team uses every day.

That constraint shaped the whole job. We worked from wireframes through to finished UI, designing around what the infrastructure could actually support instead of whatever was easiest to mock up. Anyone can make something look great in a vacuum. The harder part is making it look great and ship on the platform you've already got.

The site reads as the country's top tech recruiter the second you land on it. Clean, credible, unmistakably local. Built on what they already had rather than replacing it.
