Two composers. Two studios. One house. And a custom Star Wars door.

Splice brought me in to edit this tour of Tori Letzler and Steven Richard Davis's LA home, and from the jump it was clear this one was going to be different. These are two of Hollywood's most in-demand composers for sci-fi, horror, anime, and video game music, with credits spanning Call of Duty, Thor, Hawaii 5-0, and World of Warcraft. The kind of work that demands a serious setup, and serious is an understatement.

The space itself is the story here. An enormous modular rack, a retro synth collection that would make most producers lose their minds, and an aesthetic that feels like it was designed by someone who genuinely lives inside the worlds they score. Editing a tour this visually rich is about sequencing the reveals carefully so the viewer's jaw drops at the right moments and stays dropped.

The pacing had room to be a little more cinematic than a standard studio walkthrough. The gear, the environment, and the personalities all pointed in the same direction, dark, atmospheric, and deeply nerdy in the best possible way, and the edit leaned into that energy throughout.
