Ripple Ostrich Leather Hobo Campaign

Ripple started from a single detail, the way water sits differently on ostrich leather than it does on smooth calfskin, pooling in the quills and catching light at hundreds of tiny points instead of one clean reflection. Inspired by Prada's ostrich hobo, I wanted a campaign that stayed close enough to see that texture do the work, rather than pulling back for a full product shot.
Every frame holds on the same tight crop, a hand gripping the metal top handle, the leather's grain filling most of the frame, the hardware plaque as the only fixed anchor point. Water becomes the moving element against that stillness, first as scattered droplets sitting on the surface, then as a full splash breaking against the leather in the campaign's key frame.
The video extends that same idea into motion, letting the splash build and settle in real time rather than cutting between static shots. It keeps the focus narrow and tactile, treating the bag less like a product to sell and more like a material study.
Photography and motion built with Ideogram and Kling, refined in Photoshop, and edited together in Premiere Pro, with Claude supporting concept direction and prompt writing throughout.

Directed a tactile-focused campaign for Ripple's ostrich leather hobo bag. It keeps the focus narrow and tactile.
