As the Product Manager, I spearheaded the end-to-end launch of our client's new flagship product, assume 'X'. Through careful planning and execution across product, marketing, sales and customer success, we were able to increase client revenue by 3X within the first six months of launch. Before this company was not making much profits, but strategic plan leads you to success.
The launch strategy focused on three core areas:
Product Readiness - Worked with engineering team and designers to ensure the product met all feature, security and reliability requirements. Performed extensive QA testing and fixed critical bugs prior to release.
Go-To-Market Planning - Developed a comprehensive launch plan encompassing pricing, promotional strategies, sales enablement, and market positioning. Leveraged tools like Salesforce to equip the sales team and marketed the product benefits through advertising and social media campaigns.
Customer Onboarding - Created a dedicated customer success team to provide onboarding assistance and training to new customers. Used Zendesk as our customer support platform and Intercom for in-app messaging to proactively guide customers through product activation.
The highly successful product launch increased new customer activations by 90% compared to other product releases. The launch strategy provides a framework to scale up marketing and sales for continued growth.
