From “We Need a Website” to a Digital Space That Feels Aligned
Build Inclusion is a consulting and training organization that helps businesses, nonprofits, and educational institutions create lasting change in the areas of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Their work is deep, human, and highly relational — but their online presence didn’t reflect that yet.
When they reached out, they didn’t just need a website. They needed a digital space that felt true to their mission — something warm and professional, grounded in purpose, and easy to navigate for the people they serve.
They weren ’t looking for flashy or corporate. They were looking for something intentional — and that’s exactly how we approached it.
The Challenge: Translate Purpose Into a Website That Builds Trust
Before we talked pages or layouts, I took time to understand what makes Build Inclusion different. Their values, their voice, their impact — that’s what needed to come through on every page.
We started from scratch on Kajabi — no templates, no shortcuts. I mapped out a custom site structure that helped visitors:
Understand what Build Inclusion does, and why it matters
Navigate their trainings, workshops, and resources with ease
Connect with the team confidently and take the next step
The result had to be clear, welcoming, and aligned with the way they lead their work — thoughtful and accessible.
My Approach: Strategy-Led, With People at the Center
This project wasn’t about cramming in features or flashy visuals. It was about creating a human-centered experience that builds trust and reflects integrity.
Key focus areas included:
Clear navigation and structure for different audiences (businesses, nonprofits, schools)
Clean, professional design that feels warm, not cold
Easy-to-update backend setup so their team can grow with the site
Purpose-driven content flow that guides without overwhelming
Everything — from fonts and spacing to call-to-action buttons — was chosen with care to ensure clarity, inclusivity, and ease.
The Result: A Digital Home That Supports Their Mission
The final Kajabi site now gives Build Inclusion a clear, consistent, and trustworthy online presence — one that aligns with the way they serve their community.
It’s not just a website. It’s a foundation they can grow with. Whether they’re onboarding new partners, hosting workshops, or sharing resources, their audience now has one place to land, learn, and connect.
