This series is inspired by "Gris", a video game developed by Nomada Studio and released in 2018. The game is a 2D platformer with puzzle elements that follows the journey of a young girl named Gris as she navigates through a beautiful and surreal world.

The story of Gris is open to interpretation but revolves around themes of loss, grief, and recovery. As Gris travels through the world, she gains new abilities that help her navigate obstacles and uncover more of the game's narrative. Ultimately, Gris is a game that offers a unique and artistic experience that is both beautiful and emotionally impactful.

For me, I've wanted to take my experience with the game and develop it in a visual expression of a journey through my complex emotions. Like Gris, I have experienced loss or difficult emotions that I needed to confront. It's was important for me to learn to acknowledge these feelings and allow myself to grieve.

Gris's journey is one of self-discovery and healing. I needed (and still need) to take time for myself to reflect, recharge, and work through difficult emotions.
