In late fall 2020, masked up in my local grocery store, I got a phone call from my friend Julia.

"Would you want to start a podcast?" her voice intoned on the other end of the line.

I stared at the wall of chips and chocolate in front of me with puzzlement. "I mean, sure, but what would we talk about?"

A handful of meetings and minimal research about sound production later, Weighted Blanket Happy Hour hit the waves of Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and many others!

Our mission: to destigmatize Mental Health with a smile. A sort of "Post Therapy Happy Hour," where we had open discussions with ourselves and others about different mental health and wellness topics. Our first couple episodes were recorded remotely due to COVID but once we got going, we flew! Over three years, 70 episodes, and many many guests and topics later, the two of us learned so much about audio production, podcast production, marketing, podcast editing, and Mental Health. I can now proudly say that I'm an editing aficionado!
